Xiaoyan Lin Designs founder Xiaoyan was raised in the cosmopolitan metropolis of Fuzhou in southeastern China where she learned to make almost everything she wore.
For Xiaoyan, creating fine clothing is an intimate process. Before deciding on fabrics or cuts, she thinks about how a design will be used and where it will be worn. Before she is ready to cut a pattern, she takes inspiration from the fabric to create strikingly modern and novel designs for the discerning woman. Her forward-looking, angular, asymmetrical designs deftly balance exquisite taste and trend-setting style.
